Asian American College Students’ Perceptions on Suicide
WHAT:
A presentation on Asian American students' perceptions on suicide. An exploratory study was conducted with five focus groups, composed of Asian American college students, to explore perceptions on suicide within the Asian community. Hear the proposed risk factors and barriers to seeking out services for support. Collaborate with mental health professionals to highlight areas where we can connect with this population.

Free H1N1 Flu Shots

CDPH will be sponsoring walk-in immunization clinics for Chicagoans who are included in the high priority groups defined by CDC:

-pregnant women
-caregivers of children younger than 6 months
-children and young adults 6 months-24 years
-persons 24-64 years who have medical conditions which put them at high risk (asthma, diabetes)
 
Shots will be given on a first come, first served basis on the following Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays:
 
Saturdays: October 31, November 7, November 14   From 9:00am to 2:00pm
Saturdays: December 5, 12, & 19                                  From 9:00am to 2:00pm
Tuesdays: October 27, November 3, 10 & 17              From 3:00pm to 8:00pm
