Just returned from a Mendez screening and presentation in Denver for the Coalition of Essential Schools. What a great group and what a great reception! The questions, the excitement, the support for getting Mendez into our schools was amazing. Special thanks to Juanita Brown who did everything to make this a seamlessly smooth and wonderful day.

MILLION FOR MENDEZ POSTCARD BLIZZARD!

Hola Amigos!

Check your Doppler radar. A blizzard's coming to California! The MILLION FOR MENDEZ POSTCARD BLIZZARD has officially launched! Assemblywoman Mary Salas (79th District) is authoring legislation that would require Mendez v. Westminster be taught in California's schools. The bill will be introduced on Dec. 4, 2007 but the approval process could take one year. We need your support now to ensure that the bill is approved! Send a postcard or letter (with a Mendez postage stamp ; - ) ) and write TEACH MENDEZ or tell us why you think we should teach Mendez, and mail your letter to:
